Teri Berkman

Born and raised in Saint John, Teri Berkman joined the committee in 2020. She has worked as a primary care paramedic for 13 years, first in Halifax before returning home to Saint John. Prior to that, she worked in group homes and as a lifeguard.

 

A graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Exercise Psychology (2005), and the Atlantic Paramedic Academy with a Diploma in Primary Care Paramedicine (2007/8), Teri is currently enrolled in the Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. Once completed, she hopes to open a counselling practise focusing on crisis and trauma.
