Jaclyn McColgan

Jaclyn McColgan has been a member since 2019. She learned of the Saint John Suicide Prevention Committee while doing some of her own community advocacy to encourage awareness surrounding suicide and mental illness. Jaclyn has two young boys and her family has lived experience of loss to suicide. This loss inspired a personal interest in helping others through honesty about the grief experience lived by her family.

Involving herself in the Saint John Suicide Prevention Committee has been both therapeutic and fulfilling and she hopes to contribute more to the community for years to come.
